Welcome to Begbies Traynor in Hove – previously CVR Global. We are a group of licensed insolvency practitioners and business restructuring experts. We assist companies across Hove, helping them understand their options for both rescue and closure.
We work alongside companies and their shareholders, helping to guide them through periods of both operational and financial distress. Regardless of the challenges being faced, our main aim will always be the same – to implement a robust yet flexible plan which will give your company the very best chance of effecting a successful turnaround.
Business rescue is not a one-size fits all process. Instead, we will take the time to understand the problems your business is facing, and devise a solution which is tailored to the best interests of your company, its creditors, as well as your employees.
For some this will involve a formal insolvency process such as a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), which will allow current liabilities to be restructured within a legally-binding arrangement with creditors. Other situations will require the company to be placed into administration which will protect the company from creditor litigation action which a route forward is plotted.
In some cases, the company’s problems will have taken it beyond the point of rescue. In this instance, our insolvency practitioners are licensed to act as liquidators, and can talk you through the process of voluntary liquidating your company through a CVL.
Whether you want to throw everything you have at saving the business, or are looking at ways of bringing the company to an orderly end, your advisor will ensure you understand the pros and cons of each procedure allowing you to make an informed decision as to the future of your business.
As well as assisting with matters of insolvency, cash flow issues, and operational challenges, our in-house pensions advisory team are also on hand to help you manage your pension schemes and liabilities both in good and bad times, while our highly experienced forensic accountancy team can provide an examination into the financial affairs of an individual or corporate entity as required.
You can make an appointment with a licensed insolvency practitioner at our Hove office, or in nearby Brighton.
