Job Description

Trainee Insolvency Administrator, Part-time or full-time, will be considered

 

About the role/duties

Working as part of a small team within the Darlington office of a national practice, the role will focus on assisting with the completion of statutory investigative duties and analysing financial information. The successful applicant will also be required to assist with the following duties :

  • Preparation of statutory paperwork, reports and correspondence to a high standard;
  • Completion of case reviews and diary maintenance;
  • Assisting with the realisation of assets of insolvent companies;
  • Analysing the records of companies;
  • Communicating with directors, shareholders, creditors and employees in relation to their queries, concerns and requirements;
  • Liaising with solicitors and accountants;
  • Reviewing creditor claims and distributing funds;
  • Electronic filing of documents with the Court and Companies House;
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns;
  • Attending site meetings and assisting with the collection of company records.

 

Key skills and requirements:

  • Current valid driving licence
  • Willingness to travel, including to site visits and to other offices if required;
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Good IT skills;
  • Excellent numerical skills;
  • Ability to prioritise workload;
  • Ability to work to deadlines;
  • Attention to detail;
  • GCSE passes in Maths and English of grade C or above (or equivalent);
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
