Neil Vinnicombe at the Bristol and Bath offices of corporate recovery group Begbies Traynor has been promoted to Partner.
It comes as the continuing tough economic times means that further businesses will require the specialist support of recovery professionals who can provide invaluable advice to struggling businesses.
Neil said he was “very pleased” about his promotion.
“It is something I have aspired to be,” he added.
Highlighting recent national retail casualties, Neil warned that other ailing businesses, currently limping along, could fall victim.
“A lot are just keeping their head above water and it would not take much to tip them into insolvency. This is the national picture and it is the same for Bristol and Bath.”
Simon Haskew, Bristol partner, congratulated his colleague.
“I welcome Neil to the partnership – it is well deserved.
“He will have key responsibility for both offices and we have every confidence in his ability to make a difference.”
Neil joined Begbies Traynor in 2003 and has experience in a wide range of sectors including construction, printing, manufacturing and retail.
Aged 44 and recently married, he is a licensed insolvency practitioner. He has 26 years recovery experience having previously worked at leading accountancy firms.
