Job Description
As a Senior Insolvency Administrator, you’ll play a key role in managing complex insolvency cases while providing guidance and support to less experienced team members. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will ensure cases are handled efficiently, compliantly, and professionally. You will act as a mentor to other colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Independently manage corporate and personal insolvency cases (administrations, liquidations, CVAs, bankruptcies etc) from start to finish.
- Conduct investigations into financial affairs, asset realisation, and director conduct; prepare reports for creditors and regulators.
- Ensure statutory compliance and timely case progression.
- Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, debtors, solicitors, and financial institutions.
- Train, mentor, and support junior team members, promoting knowledge development and confidence.
- Review and provide feedback on junior work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Foster collaboration through clear communication within the team and across the wider Group
- Maintain technical accuracy and uphold regulatory compliance across cases.
- Stay informed on insolvency legislation changes and share insights with the team.
- Support senior staff on complex matters and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Contribute to business development through networking and client proposal input.
- Help improve internal processes and system efficiencies.
- Actively participate in group-wide initiatives promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for:
- Strong track record of managing insolvency cases independently.
- In-depth knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures, particularly in corporate insolvency.
- Proficiency in IPS (or similar software) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive and curious approach with a strong sense of accountability and problem-solving skills.
- Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) or equivalent qualification.
