Leading insolvency and restructuring firm, Begbies Traynor Group has welcomed eight new team members to its growing Birmingham operation.
The new starters, three of whom are partners, all joined the team following the company’s acquisition of fellow insolvency practitioners and business recovery specialists, CVR Global earlier in the year.
The move extends the team’s overall numbers to 16, making it one of the largest insolvency specialist operations in the city.
Commenting on the news, Neil Jeeves, partner within the team says:
“We are delighted to welcome such a sizeable intake of experienced and talented insolvency professionals to our growing team. Despite the many challenges posed by the pandemic, our Birmingham operation has gone from strength to strength over recent months and this extra resource will allow us to extend our support to more businesses across Birmingham and way beyond.
“With lockdown restrictions coming to an end, this is obviously an exciting time for many businesses, particularly in the beleaguered hospitality and entertainment sectors. However, as underlined by our recent Red Flag Alert report, many businesses across the West Midlands sadly continue to find themselves in significant financial distress. As such, we expect strong demand for our services to continue over the coming months as businesses look to position themselves most effectively for the new economy ahead.”
