Experienced insolvency practitioner, Chris Knott has joined Begbies Traynor’s growing
Staffordshire office to focus on further expanding the firm’s North Midlands practice.
Having been appointed by the firm as an associate director in the Birmingham office last
summer, and since promoted to director, Chris is returning to Staffordshire where he spent
more than a decade of his career and will support Michaela Daly who heads up the local
office.
Chris is experienced in all case types, both corporate and personal, specialising in advising
owner-managed businesses across a wide variety of industries, including retail, construction,
energy, transport and agriculture.
Commenting on his new role with the firm, Chris said:
“I knew when I joined Begbies Traynor that it would be a fantastic opportunity to be part of
an experienced team. That’s exactly how it has played out and I’m really looking forward to
working alongside Michaela and the team to grow the practice across Staffordshire and the
surrounding areas.
“Throughout my career I’ve always strived to provide honest, forward-thinking advice and I
can’t wait to catch up with contacts across the region and get involved in supporting the local
business community once again.
“Undoubtedly, these are challenging times for many businesses with escalating costs and
many still reeling from the economic impact of the pandemic. We’re here to support those
businesses and would always urge directors to come and talk to us at their earliest
opportunity so that we can use all the tools at our disposal to focus on business rescue.”
Michaela Daly added: “We’re so pleased to welcome Chris to Begbies Traynor in
Staffordshire – his knowledge, expertise and commitment to delivering the highest standards
of service to clients will make him a valuable addition to our growing team.”
