The UK’s leading pigment rotary textile printing firm is seeking new ownership after appointing business recovery and rescue specialists Begbies Traynor.
David Hill and Huw Powell, of Begbies Traynor in Cardiff, have been appointed joint administrators of Treforest Textiles Limited in Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd.
Mr Powell said: “Treforest Textiles Limited is a long-established company, which has operated from Treforest for 80 years.
“The business has recently suffered a decline in sales with competition from digital and overseas printers.
“Employing 43 staff, it currently has no plans to make any redundancies and we propose to continue trading with the view to achieving a going concern sale.
“We have started contacting potentially interested parties and anyone who has an interest should contact us.”
Interested parties can email Huw Powell.
David is a chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner. He joined Begbies Traynor in 2003 having previously worked for Grant Thornton, Deloitte and BDO Stoy Hayward. He has a wide range of experience in Corporate Rescue and Recovery including both corporate and personal insolvency.
