Tom Gardiner

Tom is a licensed insolvency practitioner, qualifying in 2009, with considerable expertise advising stakeholders of businesses facing financial distress, and where appropriate acting as Administrator, Liquidator or Supervisor.

With over 14 years’ experience at specialist recovery firms, a top 20 accountancy firm and the high-risk credit team at a UK clearing bank, Tom brings an expert, pragmatic and constructive approach to all assignments he is involved with.

He has acted on a range of high-profile retail administrations and spent six years in the restructuring department at a top 20 accountancy firm where he specialised in the agricultural sector.

Tom’s time at the bank saw him manage approximately £50 million of impaired debt across a varied SME portfolio, ranging from care homes and hospitality to automotive and waste disposal.

Tom is part of our team based in Colchester, which is responsible for providing advice and business restructuring and insolvency services to a wide range of businesses and individuals from various sectors predominantly across the Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk region.
