Welcome to Begbies Traynor’s international office in Cyprus where our expert team deliver cohesive multi-jurisdictional insolvency solutions for our global clients, amongst other corporate services.
Our Cyprus office, based in Nicosia, is led by licensed insolvency practitioner, Darren Reeds; an expert in cross-border contentious insolvency. In 2021, Darren was also awarded a Cypriot Insolvency Practitioner Licence. The licence was granted by the Cyprus regulatory body, The Cypriot Insolvency Service, which allows Reeds to take insolvency appointments in relation to Cypriot incorporated corporate structures.
Our team has a growing reputation for multi-jurisdictional work and vast experience with court-appointed receiverships and liquidations, many of which have included asset-tracing and forensic components to recover assets. Such appointments have encompassed regions including Cyprus and further afield British Virgin Islands, Russia, Eastern Europe, USA, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.
We have the expertise, the backing and the strength to assist our clients in areas pertaining to cross-border insolvency, financial investigations, and fraud and the proceeds of crime – in addition to a wide range of other advisory and forensic accounting services.
