We are delighted to report that our good friend and active BGN member, Ofer Shapira has been appointed as the Receiver of Leadcom Integrated Solutions Ltd which is a holding company of a multinational business containing tens of subsidiaries around the globe from Latin America in the west through Europe and the Middle East to Africa and the Far East.
Leadcom group is a well known construction and integration group that works for the leading communication operators around the world in planning of communication networks and construction of communication sites of any sort and shape. Before the appointment Leadcom employed more than 1,000 employees worldwide.
BGN Executive Chairman, Nick Hood commented: “Ofer’s success in winning this important case reflects his ability to operate worldwide with the help of other BGN members and associates.
In the early stages of the case, BGN was able to provide Ofer with invaluable comfort that he could access the network's resources and contacts in such diverse jurisdictions as Ecuador and many parts of Sub-Sarahan Africa, although ultimately this support was not needed. Under his Administrative Receivership, Leadcom has been successfully led out of its crisis in a remarkable turnaround and its revenues for 2011 are expected to be nearly $120M."
