BTG Begbies Traynor, working alongside Rosling King LLP, has agreed a deal with HF, the leading legal advisers to the insurance and commercial sectors, which has resulted in a highly rated London-based legal team of c.40 joining HF on 26 May.
Rosling King LLP appointed Kirstie Provan and Mark Fry of BTG Begbies Traynor, as Joint Administrators over the firm on 26 May 2026. Immediately following their appointment, the Administrators completed the deal with HF, a sale which was integral to preserving the employment of all c.40 employees in their talented legal team and a solution for all Rosling King’s clients to have the same excellent team doing their work.
This is another significant development in HF’s continued growth story, and the team will be based in London, providing clients with the high standard of service they expect, alongside the scale and innovation of HF. They will bring additional expertise to the existing commercial teams at HF including specialisms in the key areas of dispute resolution, insolvency, and real estate.
Ronan McCann, CEO & Managing Partner of HF, said:
“Georgina and the team at Rosling King are very highly regarded in their field and we’re pleased and excited to have them join us. Within HF, they will provide the same excellent standard of service, backed by HF’s scale, innovation, and technology.”
Georgina Squire, Senior Partner of Rosling King, said:
“We are thrilled to be joining HF and to be part of their ongoing success. We’re looking forward to being able to focus on providing outstanding service to our clients as part of a successful and growing business.”
Mark Fry, Group CEO at BTG, said:
“Completing the sale of Rosling King quickly was integral to preserving the positions of its talented legal team and ensuring continuity for its clients. The firm had been operating for nearly two decades and had built up an impressive client base, but after it started to experience financial distress it needed to consider its options.”
“After exploring all avenues, we are very pleased to have achieved this outcome in a highly pressured and regulated environment. This is the most positive outcome for all concerned and we thank HF and the RK Members for working so closely with us to get this result.”
