James Allen

James started his insolvency career in 2010 at a small Hampshire-based firm and moved to London to join David Rubin & Partners in 2013 (acquired by Begbies Traynor Group in 2021). He is excited to now be part of the Begbies Traynor Group, with all of the opportunities which being part of a larger firm will bring.

He enjoys the challenges and rewards of the insolvency industry and gains satisfaction in giving advice and guidance to creditors, former employees, and other stakeholders. He also values the opportunity to make commercial decisions in a dynamic environment.

James has passed the Corporate JIEB paper, and is currently studying for the Personal Paper in order to become a fully qualified Insolvency Practitioner.

In his spare time, James plays in a pool team, and also enjoys golf, snowboarding, playing the guitar and socialising.
