Lincolnshire based events company Hemswell Court Limited (“the Company”) is proposed to enter Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation instructing BTG Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP to deal with matters.
The Company, which has been operating since 1999, appointed Gareth David Rusling and Philip David Nunney, Licensed Insolvency Practitioners of BTG Begbies Traynor to manage a controlled wind down of the company and its affairs as part of a Creditors Voluntary Liquidation process.
The Company has ceased to trade with immediate effect as of 23 October 2025 and staff have been made redundant. Future events are cancelled as a result, and customers with bookings in 2025 have been informed immediately.
Gareth David Rusling, partner of BTG Begbies Traynor Sheffield office, commented:
“The business has faced challenging trading conditions since the Covid-19 pandemic, compounded by ill health and, most recently, the unexpected passing of a member of the Board of Directors. As a result, the remaining Directors have made the difficult decision to cease trading with immediate effect.
As the proposed Liquidators, Phil and I will be working closely with the Directors, to assist with placing the Company into Liquidation over the next 4–6-week period”
All customers with events booked and suppliers of the Company should contact the proposed Liquidators in the first instance via email on [email protected] for further information.
All interested parties in respect of the Company’s assets and leasehold premises should contact [email protected].
