Award-winning business rescue and recovery specialist Begbies Traynor has opened an office in Swansea.
The move by the company, whose Welsh headquarters is in Cardiff, will enable it to build on work it has already done in the city and with the wider South Wales business communities.
The Swansea team will be headed up by partner David Hill, who leads the firm’s Cardiff team.
The Swansea office is based in Princess House in Princess Way, in the centre of the city.
Speaking of the development, David Hill said: “We are delighted to announce our move into Swansea and are really looking forward to offering our renowned financial consulting and recovery expertise to local businesses.”
David added: “Many firms are finding that as the economic recovery continues, fresh challenges such as over-trading and consequent cash-flow strains are once again threatening businesses with ambitious growth plans. At Begbies Traynor we have developed a track record for helping management teams to place their businesses on a secure footing, in order to take advantage of increasing opportunities that Swansea offers.”
The Swansea team will consist of David Hill (partner), Peter Dewey (partner) and Steve Wade (director).
David is a chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner. He joined Begbies Traynor in 2003 having previously worked for Grant Thornton, Deloitte and BDO Stoy Hayward. He has a wide range of experience in Corporate Rescue and Recovery including both corporate and personal insolvency.
