Routes was founded by Andrew Healing in 2005, as a provider of NHS-funded, nursing-led home healthcare. Andrew grew this business to four office locations, covering much of the North West of England.
Emma Jones advised Routes on an acquisition search, resulting in the successful strategic acquisition of a similar Newcastle-based business – JB Skillcare. This became the company’s fifth location, extending the business’s geographical coverage and reach.
Following this acquisition, Key Capital Partners (KCP) invested into Routes. KCP were introduced to Andrew as a suitable investment partner, due to their excellent track record in this sector, having previously worked with Nurse Plus and Hallam Medical. Emma Jones and the supporting BTG Advisory corporate finance team advised Andrew throughout this process.
Emma Jones added: "I am delighted that we have been able to assist Routes Healthcare not only in its successful acquisition, but subsequently in securing this development capital too. I firmly believe that the combined experiences in this sector of Key Capital Partners and Routes Healthcare will be a key driver of the future success of the business.”
