Lorrae Hayes

Lorrae Hayes followed a 20 year career in Banking from 1980 to 2000 with a change of professional direction in 2000 to qualify as a Chartered Certified accountant. She trained in practice with Tenon Plc and in industry with The Rose Bowl Plc where she was part of a small team which restructured Hampshire Cricket Club and raised significant additional funding through an IPO.  

Between 2002 and 2010 she worked in the asset based lending market for both GMAC and GE in an origination role structuring and advising on deals requiring funding of £1-£20 million in a broad range of industries and jurisdictions. She has extensive knowledge of the Asset Based lending arena and particularly the requirements of both risk and underwriting functions.  

She is now involved in a wide range of restructuring and advisory projects in diverse sectors, with her experience in the field and latterly in the ABL market working in most sectors and with various scenarios, she can bring her experiences and hands-on knowledge to her advisory and professional work particularly where seeking solutions to business issues.  

Lorrae is ACCA and ACIB qualified, holds a degree in Applied Accounting and has held directorships in a number of companies. She has been a Director of an independent school for approximately 10 years (Not-for-Profit company with Charity Status) where she is responsible to the Board for all financial matters including planning and budgeting and has previous experience in the Professional Sports, Healthcare and Charity sectors.
