Mark is a Project Manager with BTG Global Risk Partners. In his diverse career he has served in the Merchant Navy and in the British Army where he completed operational deployments to Cyprus and the Falkland Islands. Later, he worked in the energy sector for a multi-national oil major and is a trained fire-fighter and health & safety consultant.

Mark has worked in the private security sector since 1992. He is an experienced close protection team leader and has led teams in domestic and international assignments. This work has included protecting foreign Royalty, dignitaries and media personalities in conflict environments.

He is an industry leader in advising merchant shipping operators on vessel protection and has personally led numerous transit security tasks in the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden regions in counter-piracy projects.
