Covert Corporate Surveillance
The Human Resources Director of a large group asked us to undertake surveillance on the Managing Director of one of the group's subsidiaries as there were concerns at board level that he was breaching his fiduciary duties. Our research team quickly discovered that the MD's son ran a company from home which competed with that of his father. Further research established that the MD's wife was running an unrelated business in which her husband also held a Directorship.
Instructed on behalf of Director of Children’s Services, for a UK Council, we were engaged to urgently locate the whereabouts of a 5 year old child who was subject to a Wardship Order granted by the High Court and vesting care and control of the child in the Council for the purpose of bringing him back to the UK. The child and his mother went with their extended family on holiday to Eastern Europe. The holiday was arranged by the child’s paternal grandfather.
