Theft by Former Employee
Our computer forensic experts were engaged to conduct a forensic investigation into possible intellectual property theft by a client’s former employee and to conduct an internal investigation into the activities of several current employees. Copies of internal system data and PCs were made and analysed. Our team executed a search for relevant disclosure documents from several hundred sources compromising dozens of terabytes of data and tens of millions of electronic documents in response to a multimillion pound litigation. The data came from several different jurisdictions in varied forms and was in some cases highly duplicative of other portions. After consultation with solicitors and client IT characteristics for documents of interest were determined and applied to all documents.
We acted as an expert witness in the High Court for matters relating to proportionality arguments for electronic evidence being disclosed in a multijurisdictional litigation. The matter involved the search of over 50 terabytes of data and tens of millions of records which needed to be searched and separated in an automated fashion.

We performed electronic investigation of data in connection with one of the largest European fraud cases in the last five years with the aim of locating correspondence and details relating to systematic bribery for contracts.
