Securing a National Museum

Major cultural landmark

Working with an international engineering group, BGN Risk acted as expert security advisors in the development of a national museum complex in a Middle Eastern country. Iconic in nature, the facility was the personal project of the region’s ruling family and provides a lasting legacy of their reign. We performed a security risk analysis to understand current and potential future threats relating to crime, terrorism and conflict. A detailed risk assessment was carried out and we defined the security strategy for both the construction and the operation of the facility. This entailed close liaison with numerous stakeholders in the public and private sector domestically and internationally.
