Rachel Whitwell

Rachel commenced her accounting career in 1990 and spent some 12 years at KPMG. Before specialising in forensic accounting, Rachel gained experience in audit and corporate recovery and also undertook a secondment to the internal audit department of a retail bank.

In 1994 she joined the forensic accounting department of KPMG in Birmingham. There she gained experience of a wide variety of forensic assignments from personal injury claims through to large commercial cases and fraud/financial investigations. On leaving KPMG Rachel spent time overseas in New Zealand with BDO, where she continued to specialise in forensic accountancy.

Rachel has now returned to Birmingham and has joined BTG Global Risk Partners where she is taking on a mixed portfolio of civil and criminal claims as well as fraud/financial investigations.
