BTG Mesirow Financial Consulting announces Head of European Restructuring

BTG Mesirow Financial Consulting (“BTG Mesirow”), the international joint venture between Begbies Traynor Group, the specialist professional services consultancy, and Mesirow Financial Consulting, the US-based financial advisory group, today announces that Alain Le Berre has joined as Head of European Restructuring.
Le Berre has over 20 years’ senior level experience in guiding organizations through difficult situations. He joins from Huron Consulting Group, where he was Managing Director and European Practice Leader for Restructuring & Turnaround. Previously, he held senior restructuring/turnaround positions at a number of Global Accountancy practices and specialist consulting groups throughout Europe. A French national living in Switzerland, he is also fluent in German and English.
Ric Traynor, Executive Chairman of Begbies Traynor Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Alain’s calibre to the team. Alain’s presence will be a great asset to the Group and to our joint venture with Mesirow Financial Consulting.”
Le Berre will operate out of the London office as well as other international locations. He will focus on growing the joint venture’s fully integrated approach to companies in need of various degrees of restructuring.
He said: “BTG Mesirow is the only specialist group to bring together operational and financial restructuring, litigation advisory and valuation specialists under one roof across offices in 100 countries worldwide. Joining the firm at such an early stage in the joint venture’s creation will give me an ideal platform to provide seamless restructuring and litigation advisory services related to international situations.”
