Begbies Traynor Successfully Sell Quickseal

Administrative receivers, Jamie Taylor and Louise Baxter of Begbies Traynor, have successfully sold the assets of Quickseal ("the company") for £300,000 to specialist contractor, VolkerLaser.
Quickseal is a family run, waterproofing and concrete repair contractor which entered administrative receivership on 7 May.
Most of Quickseal’s UK assets and operational staff were transferred to VolkerLaser on 8 May and VolkerLaser plans to retain the majority of staff and honour contracts already held with long term clients.
Mike Weaver, managing director of Volkerlaser, commented:
“We are pleased to have made this asset transfer which will provide VolkerLaser with additional skills and experience in the building and construction market, where our existing portfolio concentrates on the civil engineering market.”
