Begbies Traynor is growing its Corporate Finance capability under the BTG McInnes banner with the appointment of four new partners across the Group.

Begbies Traynor Group plc ("BTG"; AIM: BEG) the AIM listed specialist professional services group, is growing its Corporate Finance capability under the BTG McInnes banner with the appointment of four new partners across the Group.

These appointments reflect the growth in corporate finance services as part of the Group’s overall business.

New members of the team include, Martin Pearson, a chartered accountant, who has been appointed as Corporate Finance Partner in the Southampton office. Although based in Southampton, Martin will work closely with all of the offices on the South Coast.

Martin began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers before going on to work at Allied Leisure plc and Hugh Symons Group plc.

Shawn Bone has joined the corporate finance team in Newcastle. Shawn has a wealth of experience in all aspects of corporate finance but specialises in private equity and sales mandates. After training with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Shawn joined their corporate finance department, and, in 2000 he became Director of Deloitte Corporate Finance in Newcastle.

The Group has also appointed David Wilson in the Manchester office and Simon Poole in the London office.
