Begbies Traynor opens Thames Valley office in Reading

03 June 2010

Reading has been selected as the latest location for a regional office for the UK’s leading business rescue, recovery and restructuring specialist, Begbies Traynor.

It will also be home to the Thames Valley office of BTG McInnes, the corporate finance division of the Group.

The Thames Valley office, which will launch in June, is to be based at Forbury Square in Reading and will be headed by Southern regional partners Antony Fanshawe and Julie Palmer. It will form the sixth office in the Southern region for Begbies Traynor which already has a strong presence in Southampton, Salisbury, Portsmouth, Brighton, and Bournemouth.

Antony Fanshawe says: “The Thames Valley has been identified by our team as a region which will need plenty of support as we head off on the long road out of recession.  Our team offers support for stakeholders in troubled companies and of course for their professional advisers.  We will also be offering specialist corporate finance expertise which will be essential for many businesses looking for growth in this difficult economic climate.

“We will be joining with BTG McInnes Corporate Finance to host a series of networking events over the coming months and look forward to combining our expertise with that of local bankers, accountants and lawyers to deliver a first class service to businesses throughout the Thames Valley.”
